To kick off the year we celebrated the incredible team behind Spill The Tea Cafรฉ. Together, we played games, created vision boards, and set powerful intentions for the year ahead. Reflecting on 2024, weโre proud of the lives weโve saved and transformed, thanks to your unwavering support. As we step into 2025, our commitment to revolutionizing mental health is stronger than ever. Weโre empowering youth to elevate their voices, own their power, and redefine success on their own terms.
๐ช Strengthening Partnerships ๐ช
Spill The Tea Cafรฉ continues to advocate for youth and families through impactful events and direct action. In February, we visited Governor Josh Greenโs office to push for protections and resources for LGBTQIA+ youth amid recent policy changes. Joined by the Governorโs Policy Advisor and AG Solicitor General, we voiced the urgent need for support.
Executive Director, Haylin Dennison, also shared insights on workplace wellness at the Employment & Labor Law Forum and addressed harm reduction strategies for Native Hawaiian and LGBTQIA+ youth at the Hawaiโi State Harm Reduction Conference.
Advocacy is action, and weโre committed to ensuring Hawaiโi remains a place where all youth can thrive. ๐
